Some folks crack me up, you crack me up. I was mistaken once, I thought at some point in this thread you were reasonable but then realized you weren't.

I jumped in on page 6 and you quite quickly started to attack my posts, it's almost like you mixed me up with some of the others you were having a back and forth with.

Are you even a tour player? Does this conversation even impact you?

I'm sorry, I must have misunderstood that I need to be a "tour player" in order to express, and defend, my opinion. I apologize that I did not recognize your entitlement that only your opinion matters. Furthermore, I regret that I did not keep my responses brief, and easily digestible.

I will endeavor in the future to continue to not care about the "poo-pooing" of people like yourself. The fact that you have an opinion that doesn't align with mine doesn't make me an idiot. You not realizing that, well, it doesn't help your case. It is regrettable that no one in your life ever taught you that. You're not the first person I've ever run up against that has taken me defending my opinion, and not just laying down and taking theirs blindly, as "attacking" them. Your characterization is superfluous.

TL;DR: I'm allowed to defend my opinion, no matter how that upsets your delicate sensibilities.

P.S. I'm glad you can get a chuckle out of it. That's a much better response.

I don’t play on tour , and I think I responded here earlier. I also don’t believe wizards op specified only tour players need reply . There are tons of ppl that think about joining the tour ( I’m not one of them ) based on the rules and possibly this rule in particular. I see no reason that non tour players and those not yet tour players shouldn’t as requested give “ opinions”.What the powers that be do with those opinions is up to them . It’s always better to play nice in the sand box , just my .02

I actually just wanted opinions of people on tour as it was directed to tour competition. Simple yes no to get a feel for it but it turned into an epic fail. Never even tried to tally it up. Oh well it was unofficial anyway.

I thought it might help get a tour rules change or at least a proper private vote on it.
I was wrong.

You don’t have to be on tour to have an opinion on the topic. However, the real question and oddity is why you would care at all or even take the time to create a thread about it. The boost doesn’t impact your life or simulator experience at all.

Well, at the time I was thinking about joining, and so I was voicing my opinion on the matter. I also asked questions along the way, looking for insight one way or the other. I made my opinion clear, and was descriptive about it. That apparently was some kind of sin around here, and the responses I received out of it made my decision to abstain quite easy.

The rest, well... after I'd made my decision not to play with these fine fellows it was way more fun to keep poking as they were obviously so easily triggered. This is a public forum after all, and as long as my opinion was not offensive, or crossed well known lines of decency, I knew I could make them known. Defending my opinions, sometimes playing Devil's Advocate, other times oddly specific references just to watch a few of these thin skinned cretins fly up in the ceiling like a top in a light breeze. At a minimum, it passed a little bit of time in between meetings and emails at work, and I learned a few things about the game and how it works along the way. Winning.

So, thanks for the distraction, boys. Since you came after me so vigorously for simply having my own opinion, I took you for a little ride while defending it. But I'm bored now. Fully qualified "meh".

P.S. I didn't create the thread. Don't want certain opinions? Know your audience and keep the council small. Otherwise, fair game gentlemen.

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet or not but having the 5% boost is important to me as I live in Nevada, elevation is 2k+ depending on where I play around the valley. So playing with 5% on for me makes sense as the courses don’t get adjusted for altitude in tgc.

You can still have the boost. This is for online tournaments only.

Look I could really care less....honestly I’m never gonna win any of these tournaments anyways. I play for fun. You guys take this stuff way too serious, you act like you’re playing for real money for gods sake. Settle down....have fun, I’d rather know my accurate carry numbers for when I play where I live.. I could give a damn less if the ball goes shorter at pebble and farther in Denver. I don’t play there....and when I do I’ll make the adjustment....I need to know that my 8i is gonna carry somewhere between 100-180...😂😂
