Is the leaderboard suppose to be showing this course as a par 70? When it's a par 72.

Well, i had an issue on my first hole last night. Hit a good approach shot into one and thought it should be about 12' or so, but it automatically goes to scorecard. I didn't think i stuck it that close for a gimme, so I look and i see i got a par. Well, i forgot the last time i used this, i had changed the settings to auto 2 putt when on the green. So pretty annoyed that I lost the chance to putt out. Also, you can't go in and change this while in tournament play so you have to back out change it and then come back in. Can't the putting and gimme settings be forced in the tournament? Didn't make much of a difference as I completely botched the 17th anyway.

I believe this is something that is being looked into/worked on. May be a TGC2 thing. The sim version needs more control over gameplay in tournaments, something that is not needed with video game play.

That way we could lock in shot recording, wind, green stimps/firmness, tee (if we ever get multiple tees), gimmies, and rough/light rough/sand penalties, as well as maybe extend the setting control to be able to check people boosts...etc. (skytrak, gsx, protee interface).

It's definitely needed, especially the more the tour grows.

I have done that before as well. I only putt during tournament rounds so I can play other rounds quickly.

Played my two rounds last night using the advise I got from my first lesson. While it was not a great round, the advise certainly helped. my distance and accuracy is coming back on my irons. What really did me in was my short game from 100 yards in. but, overall I am just happy to see progress with my iron striking.

good to hear I think it is the hockey jersey on your avatar causing the issue, Mr. Gilmore

I feel your pain, 16 got me in both rounds. I acually had a all time low 2 over after 9 in my first round and ended up playing 12 over on the back 9 hahahaha 2nd round was 4 over and 10 over. Somehow the back 9 managed to really kick my backend. good luck with round 2 !

Got me as well especially in round 1, dunked one in the water, then three putted for a smooth triple. Lol.

Okay I was able to play both rounds. Just a few shots from having another really good tournament. Bizarre how these things sometimes work, but I did not strike the ball particularly well in the first round as compared to the second round, but was able to shoot a better score. Took a triple bogey late which really hurt.

One bizarre thing that I have not seen before is I had a put roll right over the top of the hole and I was expecting it to fall, but it kept rolling. It stopped just after the hole, so I really don't think that I hit it too firm. In the second round I actually lipped a couple of putts, so think if the round one putt was too hard you would have seen that hiccup of the ball hitting the cup and them moving on. But it just rolled as if the cup wasn't there. Never have experienced that before and didn't happen again in the second round.

I did want to report a rewind. In the second round on the 13th hole I hit my 8 iron just a little left of the hole and it was a sweet shot. Thought it was going to be really tight. Hit 139-142 I can't remember, but it was right at the pin, but then it took off and rolled out some 15-18 feet past the hole and it was uphill after the hole. So given the shot it should not have moved hardly at all. I thought it was bizarre when it hit because it immediately looked like it was "putted" how it took off. Then the SkyTrak froze. I wasn't going to take a rewind, because I don't like to do that, but I couldn't get my putt to read. Putted 4-5 times. So I decided well I'm going to rewind and see if that happens again. Hit the 8 iron again and stuck it again. Hit it within gimme range.

So self reporting. If my score needs to be disqualified this round that's fine. Just wanted to let folks know. Didn't have any issues the rest of the way.

Really fun golf course. Forgot about the water to the right on one hole and just barely cleared by a couple of feet on that hard dog leg to the right :-). Driver was really working for the most part. Was able to work it to the right when I wanted to (sometimes too far) and work it to the left when I wanted to (sometimes a little too far), but that's REALLY nice to be able to hit the shot you are trying to hit. I haven't been able to do that for a while.

Off topic I took a Skills Assessment the other night with my irons from 170 to 80. Finished with a 6.7 handicap which was down from 14 plus the two times I took it before. Two days after that I went out IRL and it looked like I had never hit an iron before in my life :-). It was so bizarre. Thankfully I was able to get back on track before the round ended, but was glad it was a scramble :-).

Good course, narrow fairways. I missed the fairway all day long by 3-8 yards, but still had a decent round going until the par 3 17. Not a difficult hole unless you land on the right side bunker. It is very deep - took about 6 shots to get out. Scored a 10 on the hole. OH well, at least I did not lose a golf ball the entire round.

Tied my lowest score ever today at 92 irl and on Skytrak. I know most of you hit the 70's and 80's all day and night but for me this shows steady improvement. I'm slowly dialing in my driver and once again damn you hole 16!!! Put another in the water in this hole... Progress is progress now I need the 80's!!!!
