I too am very interested in learning how to play a round with someone ....my only stipulation is that you not be offended by cursing. I don't think I can play without it.

Like I said apologies to protee and you boo and any others that just hit play please make sure it's the right tournament. I honestly did not intend grief and this was not intentional for me to take 1 st place this week
sorry again I have tried to erase it again and it won't let me

Wow did I struggle around the greens on this course. Two 4 putts and a another couple 3 putts and zero good chips all round... And about 10 times when my sky track didn't read what I felt was a good stroke only to not hit the next one well lol...gotta love when that happens... On to round 2....

First you need to be friends which you do at the startup where profile is. Click the 3 little heads. It's simple. Add the other guy. He needs to accept.Originally posted by Boo Radley View Post
No worries, maybe post how you actually do this play together thing sometime..........Should probably pay attention, I just clicked on all tournaments public tournaments then automatically hit the Crooked Stick tournament without looking that close....oh well..........
Once that's done, one person goes into the tournament like as if you were going to play as per usual and start the tournament and go to the tee. Before hitting a shot, click esc then "active friends". A list of available friends pops up. As long as your friend is in TGC and he's in TGC, he'll show as available. Both need to have turn order on or it looks like ghosts. Click your friend and invite him to the tee. Simple.
If you get stuck post here or pm me. You do the same anytime you want to play with someone.
This is is pretty much how match play is done which I'll post about in a minute.

Ok I thought auto putt had to be off. I played a round tonight against a ghost. He had auto putt on and never putted. So the computer would give him a 1 or 2 each time he hit the green. I am not going to name him but I didn't think this was allowed.

ProTee United - Could you possibly take a look at my handicap please. I've played the Q School deal and it shows that I am 11+. However I palyed the last tourney as a zero.
Disclaimer - I am quite positive that it was a screw up on my end somewhere in starting the tour. No doubt. However, I am not an 11 in real life, I would never be considered a zero.
I say all of that to say this, I'm pretty happy with my scores in this Templeton Tourney, but hard to compete with a zero Cap. I know it'll work out eventually, just wanting that instant gratification. LOL!

had a really good round going through 12 but could never recover mentally from a triple on 14. triples ruin my whole day. don't even want to look at a club after.
so yeah...second round in an hour or so!! lol

After switching from the GSA CX2 system to the GSA PX5.... I was quite happy with the results. However when I play badly or am sore from Hockey it really shows now. Practice round after a couple of days rest..... 68.... boy is this game easy. A tournament round the day after a hard hockey game...... Bam 83. Chipping seems to be harder with the added club data. So much for opening up the club face. Maybe there is a setting that I am missing there..... Bad chipping added about 5 or 6 strokes to the round. and soreness...... about another few strokes. I also left about 5 putts on the lip of the hole...... damn those green keepers!!!!! I play hockey tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday so...... I will have to muddle through the second round as well. My next practice round is bound to be good for sure.

i am voting that you play hockey before every tournament round haha your not a young pup no more.. hope the advil kicks in soon that new system you will get tuned in soon and all will be good, just watch what happens to me this week with the GC2 it will not be a pretty day, I might blame this on to much drinking, if only I drank.Last edited by aeroburner; 12-10-2016, 10:09 PM.

HELP!!!
I am stuck on hole 3 of round 2. I played the first two holes yesterday then had to stop. Fired it up today, and after I hit the tee shot it just sits there it never moves forward to the next shot even though the ball is completely still. None of the keyboard controls work the game has basically crashed.
I have tried this shot four times now with the same result. I even tried to concede the whole once and it just crashed after that.
I tried firing up a separate round on my own and it works just fine. There is something wrong concerning this tournament for me and I cannot move forward.
Help someone!
