It can be pointed a little towards the screen. It should work fine at 7.5' if you use a lens with a wide FOV and/or increase the resolution.

Here is a screen cap prior to changing lens.

I put the Vari Focal lens in and had it turned all the towards 2.6 mm and this is what it looks like with 2 balls that are about 2-feet away from each other.

Is there a different camera driver I need to download? From the lens website from about 4.5-feet away, I should get an image about 52"Hx75"W.

The resolution is not changing. When I open the camera stream window it is back to the screen cap I previous posted. Do I need to uncheck or change any of these settings? As is, the new lens only shows me a an image of 2-feet.Originally posted by "Zmax" post=4218To change the resolution using the camera stream, set "Left" to 56. "Top" to 0.
"Width" to 640. "Height" to 480. Apply, OK.
Then click on "Preview" and make sure the resolution changed. After that, adjust your focus.

Try this: Do the above but use 752 for the width instead of 640 and zeros for top and left. If this works, then do it again but use 640 for the width.
If still doesn't work, request a remote support session from Protee and have them do it for you. They can also go through everything and sure it's all working.

I have installed all the drivers and done some troubleshooting but still not able to preview the camera in the ProTee interface. It shows in the drop down as PS3Eye Camera but in the window below I get the message no camera found. When I open FlyCap 2 its listed and I can preview the video.

Follow these instructions:
http://csc.protee-united.com/entries...camera-drivers
Pay special attention to point 9 otherwise the camera will not show up in the interface and make sure the 32 bit driver is installed (see bottom of the document) and not a download 64 bit driver from the PTGrey website.
