    I'm not saying that it did over write them, it just appears to me that an operator has been removed, probably in error. -10 and 10 shouldn't give you the same result. And a change in operator would explain how settings could stay the same, yet yield different results. Might also explain why the swing tempo change isn't working for me. But I digress, could you please provide me with a link to the prior update.

      My set up is probably screwed up and I would like to start fresh. Most likely the update in my case layered on top of bad data from a prior interface.

      How is the best way to remove the interface and all its data and start over?

      After using windows to uninstall it are there any other files that need to be deleted so that the new install does not pick up the bad/old data?

      Lastly, should the fresh install set everything to default settings?

        I removed everything through control panel and then removed the 2 folders in (x86) folders that contained old data so that nothing would carry over. Aside from the interface tweaks of comm port, imperial, and the other common ones, I did not tweak the Alt-e settings except for the waggle issue from 4 to 99. I played a few holes and everything seemed to work very well. Hopefully I got rid of the gremlins that were there from me messing it up before. Maybe the Left-handed fixes in the update helped. So far all is good. Tomorrow my right handed kids will play and I will have a better feel for the success or not. I am quite hopeful about this.

          Yes I reinstalled 3.07e as well and all is good, I don't think I want to be on the bleeding edge next time an update comes out.. lol.

            After the reinstall I want to be sure that I have everything correct. The following settings which were set by a clean install of the interface conflict with the default settings. Do I use the default settings or keep them as non-default?

            # Pitching_make_ballpath_straight:
            # Option to make ballpath square when pitching
            # Value: True or False
            # Default:True
            Pitching_make_ballpath_straight=False

            # Pitching_use_clubspeed:
            # Option to make ballspeed=clubspeed when pitching
            # Value: True or False
            # Default:False
            Pitching_use_clubspeed=True

            # Use_CTB_ratio:
            # Use Clubface_to_ballpath correction
            # Value: True or False
            # Default:True
            Use_CTB_ratio=False

            I have only played a couple of holes with the new settings and I do not know if I pitched at all so I have not tested. BTW, are chipping the same?

              after i upgraded to 3.07f my drives were carrying way too far. usually when that happens it's because of debris obstructing a sensor. i blew out the hitting pad and confirmed that there was no debris but still had the same issue until i downgraded.

                Hey, inorkuo, both boerdoc and I had issues with 3.07f so we both reverted to the prior update, and problems were solved.

                  thanks for the tip ckl. i did end up downgrading back to 3.07e, but after that the sim was reading every shot as a slice. after a week or two of very frustrating sim play, i decided to intentionally swing very inside out with a very closed face and still it read as a slice. i tried resetting the protee interface, resetting tgc, powering off and powering back on the hitting sensor, restarting the computer and nothing helped until i deleted the settings file and re-installed 3.07e. now everything is back to normal. so if you upgrade the protee interface and start really sucking at golf (more than usual) consider starting from scratch with the settings file. i hope this saves someone else some time and frustration.

                    It's interesting that you guys have had so many problems with the recent update. I haven't had any issues on any of my sims with this version of the interface. Might be a tough one for ProTee to sort out.

                      hey richard, i should mention that prior to updating to 3.07f i was on 3.05l and when it started launching my drives 350 yards i went back to 3.07e. maybe if i had gone from 3.05l to 3.07e then to 3.07f it would have been different. i'm not trying to be negative. the protee system is great and their support is top notch.

                      i do have a question for you since you must have lefties and righties playing on your systems. do you have the "check for left handed player" set to on in the protee interface? the last time i had a problem with the system consistently misreading shots, i had turned that setting on. i know you can create a tgc player as left handed but i'm not sure if that's all that's necessary or if this setting needs to be on as well.

                        I always leave that off. If you leave it on I think it just switches the interface to defaulting to left handed mode. The wording is misleading in that setting.

                          I did, it seems to be working OK. The pt1 wedge thing on the hcam is working great! I can do flops with exaggerated out to in club path and it picks up the ball. It used to pick up the club almost every time. Of course, I didnt see the setting since it was buried and in a section that said dont change these but they directed me to it. The problem that made it necessary to downgrade to e was fixed or reverted back to e's code. It says (offline) on the hcam change so not sure what that means. They are also working on a version i they told me. Not sure what that will be bringing.

                            Thanks for this! I upgraded today to 3.07g and was fuming at the misreads on my wedges. Was hitting 5 or 6 consecutive re-winds that the PT4 setting for the HCam was picking up the club and the ball went shooting off to the extreme left.

                            Followed your advice and changed the camera setting for wedges and it picked them up perfectly.

                          Is the center of contact display fixed? i.e. does it now show both left and right as opposed to just left?
