I bought my TGC with my sky trak last February.....we had to pay $99 fee for ST along with the $1000 for TGC....we were told it was going to still cost $99 each year with ST.........I just got an email that says i need to pay $200 to renew to be able to use simulation software??? This can't be right.....or is it??

This is complete crap! I bought my SkyTrak based on the fact that I could play simulation software with the $99/year GIP as advertised. Even the TCG requirements state that you need the GIP to play, not the P&I package. NOW I have to purchase the $200/year P&I package to play the TGC software I already purchased?
What am I, the user, getting for my "upgrade"? Access to WGT that I can't even play as I do not own an Apple device? Have you updated WGT so it is compatible to Android/Windows devices or are you going to send me a fee Ipad so I can use this wonderful "upgrade" you've given me? Because seriously, the only difference between the GI and P&I is getting WGT, and if you are just doing this to push WGT, you need to ensure it can be played across all platforms.
SkyTrak_Seth, this was a bad business move. There were a number of things you could have done differently, i.e grandfather in everyone who purchased the SkyTrak before this "great change", to allow them to play the package they agreed to when they made their purchase. You are now basically forcing on people simulation software that they do not want or cannot use. Seriously, I was not happy with having to pay $99/year, at $200/year I would have probably made another decision on a product. You could have at least given us advance notice this was happening, but you didn't. We found out by someone checking the website which shows me, you were afraid of the repercussions had you given advance notice.
The week of the PGA merchandise show we were told about great things to come, including an update that would be available a week after the PGA show. Well that update isn't even there yet. The only "update" we have received is this wonderful news about our subscription increasing 100% and we get nothing out of it except fattening your pockets. I mean seriously, we the user received nothing for the increase in our subscription.
I haven't even owned my SkyTrak for 30 days yet when this happened. Since I am so dissatisfied with my purchase now because of this, will you take my unit back and give me a full refund for it and TGC software that I purchased? It's only fair as this was not what I signed up for when I bought this.
I cannot in good conscience recommend SkyTrak to anyone anymore. In fact, I'm going to have to go back and tell everyone I already told about it, NOT to purchase a SkyTrak.

I have been looking a a ST for some time now and I am still trying to understand all of the software. Do you still need this P&I to play E6 or only the Game Improvement package?

Very new to the skytrak...(about 2 months in) I had determined it to be the best value and took the plunge along with a purchase of the golf club. I'm very disappointed in this %100 increase to use sim software. SkyTrak_Seth This info would have been nice to have up front and very well could have led to a different decision on my part. However, I decided to give you guys a chance from some of the Good things I have read on this forum. And I have been very satisfied so far. Hoping you guys can make this right for those who placed a significant investment in your product. I have had friends over who are very interested in potentially purchasing your equipment...will certainly be informing them about this maneuver and advising they shop around a bit more.
