Thanks. It was about $1200 cdn. It comes out of the US so if that is where your from you should be able to get it for about half that since our dollar is worth nothing!!! It works really well, you can hit down slightly but if you hit behind the ball far enough it will disrupt the speed of the ball like it would on a real golf course. You can put a tee in it anywhere and you can putt on it and it has nice speed. Its not perfect, but what is. When balls come off the screen they just stop right on the spot on the turf. A friend of mine has been to Mike Wiers home and said it felt the same as what he had in his home so that felt good.

Sounds like you got a great setup pwade! I'll have to look into that tee line turf. Right now I just have a 4x5 stance mat, but I'd love to have something that runs all the way to the net so the balls won't bounce back so much in the garage. For now I just put a little carpet mat down for them to stop on.

Very nice brattenj! Those chairs look comfortable...was it a home theater room?

Nope. Complete new addition on the house. Somehow the wife allowed me to build a golf sim/ home theatre room.

The screen is 4,65m x 2,90m. I use two screens, a heavy backscreen and a stretch frontscreen.

Thanks to several of you for pointers on various topics as I built my sim room over the past year. It took a lot longer than I planned, but it became part of a large basement finishing project of about 2000sqft that I worked on in all my (too little) spare time for a year.
The turf area is about 15x25; Carpeted ceiling and wing walls; Swingsense screen, RealFeel hitting mat. I put the pc in a kitchen wall cabinet adapted to mount on floor (and Included an automatic temperature controlled silent fan system). A few tweaks left: anchor the hitting mat (or decide to cut it into the putting turf); Cut in a few putting holes; Mount my antique clubs and Master's mementos on the lighted wall space and finish adding the shelves in the bookshelf for all my golf books; put the GC2T power cord under the turf (or, I'm thinking about making a L-Ion battery pack that also serves as the box to lift it up and make the pack rechargeable (I fly RC airplanes and have a good charger). That looks really nice, great job! I suggest getting 2 in wide velcro strips from Lowe's and cut 4ft length to attach the hook end to the cce mat. I only put one strip along the front on top of carpet and it stays in place now...

So I understand, you used the adhesive to stick the 2" Velcro hook side to the bottom of your mat, and the hooks provided enough grab to the putting turf surface?

Gowster....that looks awesome. If interested, you can use carpet shims to transition your turf almost flush with your CCE. It worked great for me. Look at the pic of my room in this thread.

I thought about that, but I haven't had the dose of courage to cut the 5x5 square out of my putting turf, so it sits on top 😟. I was thinking of too many scenarios that I might not want the hole cut (different Matt, reposition, etc and got scared. I decided to try it this way to make sure before taking the leap. I don't like putting this way, it is "unnerving" when the ball drops off the Mat vs getting a clean role. I have even sketched a concept for a motorized trolley for my GC2T to move forward of the mat for putting...

I did the same. I played for 2 months with the cce on carpet until I was happy with the final location. Then I installed the turf and cut the location for the mat.
