Played a practice round on this one today. Can’t say I’m a fan of the yellow ball and the wide fuzzy grid lines on the green but a relatively easy track. Will be some low scores again this week.

Good to know it was the course causing the fuzzy lines! I had my ladder out adjusting the focus on my projector, but couldn't get it right...was getting mad!

I think we have played this course before -nice course. Hopefully, I will beable to get both rounds in. I played real golf 3 times last week and that with work and other hobbies only got 18 in. Rain today and tomorrow so hopefully can get some holes in today and tomorrow.

Just curious for others. If you play 18 real golf do you still play some sim golf? If I do this I am concerned my shoulder or something will begin to hurt and really I love the game, but really do not feel like playing sim golf after a round of real golf.

        Interesting question!

Young family means I had to pick one pastime and golf was it. The SIM lets me hit balls when ever I can. At the moment and for the foreseeable I'm able to run thru a 20mins practise routine ever other day with 2 SIM rounds a week. Add to that 1 real round a week I can't complain at all. Can be a little rusty when scrambling on the course but the rest is in tip top shape. Tbh the 20mim routine is 50-150 and it's working wonders for my game.

The SIM had really been priceless for my golf game and sanity.

I play 2 real rounds on the weekend and try to squeeze in 3 rounds on the sim during the week.

How does it work? Do you record the entire session and edit/capture the good shot? or will it some how just capture the good shot?

i dont ever save em because im really not that good hahaha but i did have a hole out from a chip before that i thought was pretty cool. but yeah you basically are recording your screen the whole time so anything done in TGC is recorded and then its put to a movie format file then you just find which hole or shot it was and you can have it forever. with editing software you can just take that one clip out if you want. I record all of mine and then i delete em right after so my HD doesnt get stored up with stuff that isnt important. unless i get a great shot thats what im recording em for just havent had one yet lol

Try something like NVIDIA Shadowplay that is recording the whole time in the background, and then you can press a certain key combination and it will dump the last n seconds (configurable) to a movie file.

I haven't played that last couple of weeks because of tendinitis in my right elbow, but it felt better so I thought I would try and play this week

I should of waited another week. I am not sure I will be able to finish and I really like this course

Man two weeks in a row, totally crap out on 1st rounds and both 2nd rounds are 10 shots better. A master at the fine art of inconsistency.

Super fun track, really enjoyed my 2 rounds and finally posted some descent scores. I am finally getting a hang to this whole sim golfing, putting is much easier now. I also grown more patient and am actually aiming (playing my cut) rather then just hacking balls into a screen.

Agree playing sim has taught me better course management. Something lately I have taken IRL golf.

wanna be a scratch golfing within 6 years.

my putting is still my sore spot

almost holed 8...closest ive ever been to a hole in one virtual or in real life haha. check it out if you care to view those kinds of things. I thought it was pretty cool. Excuse the music and the language of "ucking" i try to curb my own cussing haha but i wanted that sound of that thump in there to prove to myself that i was really swinging and hitting it haha

ProTee United I shot 85, 83. But leaderboard is showing 83 as first round. I did exit in the middle of the first round and resumed later. When I go to the tournament menu there is no option to start another round. Also, the first round is in my recorded shots. How do we rectify this?

Sounds like a similar issue to my post in the Q school thread
Q-SCHOOL TOUR CHALLENGE 2 rounds at Bethpage State Park Black Course (Pro-Tee) 3 rounds at Magnolia National 2016 (ProTee 6356 yd) tgc-qschool-event tgc-qschool

I also exited one of the rounds mid round and resumed later.
