That's a fine idea. As long as we keep track of who's up and what hole was completed, we can just concede holes until we get back to where we were. We should also all agree that if it happens mid hole we go back to the beginning of that hole rather than try to recreate the shots. MTHUNT - is that reasonable? -
mthunt so last night goatbarn and I tried to play our match...Everything was fine through 4 holes with him 2 up on me. We hit our 5th tee shots and then he lost connection. we tried getting back in but for some reason everytime we tried to concede holes to get back to 5, one of us would get left back on a previous hole and we could not get it working after numerous tries. at one point he was on the 5th tee and I was still on the 2nd fairway staring at his character lol.. I hope this is not an issue with everyone... We are going to try to play another time and see what happens...Comment

Just trying to figure this out. Did you both concede the hole, go to the next hole, then both concede? I tried it on my rig but local. I had to concede for each player. Then both go to the next tee then both concede again. I'm trying to find someone to test this with online. -
Exact same thing happened to cklguy and me, but it was hole 8. We then tried the concede thing to get back to hole 8, but it had the same issues as your's. We then decided to just restart on hole 1, it was working fine, then 'lost connection' again on hole 4.

He has a GC2 so it's not a skytrak issue. A lot of people have been having connect issues. There's been a few threads. I am too. I hope it's running well soon. I'm even having issues on another PC trying to quote this thread. I've never tried to do online match play and concede to the next hole or resume. It usually works fine. no need to apologize, it's not your fault. First we both tried to concede then I got stuck at the tee on 1, then we tried to hit a tee shot and I conceded and we made it tee 2 and then again I got stuck there. Finally, he made it all the way ahead and I was in the second fairway and his guy was on screen and my whole game locked up and I couldn't even hit esc and bring up the menu... It was fun, takes a lot longer than playing alone of course but I liked it. -
there is ways to get this to get back up and going we had a threesome going last night and rbarthle conceded to catch up with us on 5th hole and make it a foursome, make sure that you refresh your friends live and that your at exactly the same point on the hole and play the TGC will catch up with actual game play it might take 2 or 3 shots to do so if your locked on looking at the opposite player disable turn order for a few shots and then reenable this to clean up the problem.

when aeroburner and I played a live match and it froze on his avatar, we turned off turn order, hit a shot, turned ten over back on. It seemed to sync it back up. Hopefully that would work in match play too.Comment

So BamaGambler and I just tried to play our match and we had the same issue as Wheels and Goatbarn. Even through about 5, connection lost and then couldn't figure it out...tried conceding and one would move forward and another not follow. It's a shame becuase it was really fun playing a live match like that. He ended up conceding match because he has scheduling conflicts this week and the rest of the month but I hope Protee can help fix this issue because the concept is sweet!Comment

The match between Penrose and inorkuo - Penrose won 5/3 - we had zero issues until hole 15....inorkuo screen read it lost connection to my user. This was a blast.Comment

2 have gone through so far. I hope this issue is fixed soon. I have my designer on a lot lately as I'm in near the end on a huge project and the "you lost connection" message pops up a lot. This only just started happening.My Courses:

This issue exists in the console version too and was not resolved. I think it's best everyone play in normal mode and not match play. You'll have to keep track of your match and post the result here. It's pretty much how you'd do in real life.
Here's how
Step 1:
start a regular game on the above course
Step 2:
When on the tee invite your opponent when he's in the game with turn order on
You can play out or use the concede function to move on. This should resolve connectivity issues.My Courses:

Bubs thanks for a great match. I'm a little concerned however. Bubs had an eagle according to my screen on I think the first par 5. My screen showed his putt going in the hole with the cup plunk sound. I mentioned it was a nice putt or something just after he said well that was close or something indicating that he had missed it It would not have mattered because he won that hole by two shots.
There were at least three holes that my screen said were All Square holes in which I had clearly won, because as Bubs mentioned it was six up. I thought it was kind of odd on a couple of holes. So on what proved to be our final hole I counted. Bubs made a six and I two-putted for what should have been a five, but it showed the hole as an All Square hole on my screen.
I was the host computer. I have screen shots if anyone needs to see them. Obviously his computer showed the correct results and my computer ended the match correctly, but did not show proper results :-).
It was a blast though and we did play without any disconnects. I am using a SkyTrak and looks like Bubs was using a GC2. I had only one no read on a drive and outside of that and the scoring it went as smooth as it possibly could!

the thing with the putt going in on one persons screen and missing on the other's happens a lot with online stroke play too. in my match with penrose last night, my scorecard was wrong but his showed correctly.Comment

Well definitely folks should keep this in mind when they start playing and not get frustrated as it is truly being calculated correctly at least on one end :-).Comment
